Dear colleagues,
The obligatory testing of employees which started on March 3, 2021 in the CR, is not relevant for our Faculty employees. Nevertheless, it is possible to get tested with an antigenic test to which you can submit via FNOL reservation system, link: https://covid.fnol.cz/antigenni-testovani-verejnosti. This test is covered by health insurance. Taking a PCR test without medical indication is only possible as a self-payer.
During the first stage of vaccination of school employees from February 27, the workers entitled for the vaccine according to the Ministry of Health are: workers in nursery schools services, special schools, educational establishments, the first and second grades of primary schools and school counselling; also teachers and non-teaching staff who are supposed to be involved in the planned re-starting of face-to-face teaching for a part of secondary school students, conservatory students, students of vocational colleges and the ninth grades of primary schools. As obvious from the above-mentioned text, reservation of vaccination capacity which was opened at the end of last week does not apply to university employees so far, thus our faculty/university has not received any numerical code which would make the reservation possible. However, the Deans of Faculties of Medicine Association use all means to call for including academic workers of faculties of medicine into priority vaccination groups (see this link).
